Fans expect a winner as Bucs and City square off

Four previous games have ended in draws

Polokwane City and Orlando Pirates have drawn their last four league encounters, and each team is predicting a win this time.

So the ball is in the strikers’ court to find the goals that will eventually separate the two sides at Peter Mokaba Stadium tomorrow (8.15pm).

City will call on Rodney Ramagalela to lead their attack. He’s got three goals, including a brace that sunk Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 away earlier in the season. Ramagalela is hopeful that they can claim another big scalp.

This is despite the fact that City have lost their last four matches and find themselves in the relegation zone.

“We are working hard to try to rectify the mistakes we did in the last four games,” Ramagalela told the Sowetan.

“It’s not going to be an easy game for us because everyone is expecting us to start winning games,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bucs forward Thabo Qalinge has backed his side to get maximum points after a positive start that sees them in third spot on the log.

“It’s a positive start but it’s still early days. We’ve played six [league games] and we are just taking one game at a time,” Qalinge commented.

“It’s not about how you start, it’s about how you finish. The season is long, there are injuries, suspensions and all that, but so far so good,” Qalinge added.
