Take time to find joy in your life

-

At some point in our lives we have something to endure, cheer about and enjoy. Be it a healthy relationship, happy marriage, spending time with our children, friends, families, sport, hobby or food. What once was something you enjoyed has now become a test of endurance.

When things are new, we always find ever-lasting-joy, excitement, endless pleasure and see no fault in them.

As the time goes by, cracks begin to show and life takes a turn, and things begin to fall apart. Once a happy couple starts fighting over trivial issues, everyone becomes an irritation, children drive them up the wall.

The financial situation worsens and takes a strain. Instead of enjoying those aspects of our lives, the couple are now enduring them, but it’s all a normal part of the human journey and nature.

Don’t lose hope. If tired, take a rest. This is the time to do self-introspection and to recharge your batteries before moving on again.

Gratitude and appreciation can help us return to that place of enjoyment and greatness. Never take your wife, husband, spouse, close friends and other people for granted.

Show them how you value them, how privileged you are to have them around you, and thank God for them.

Be grateful that you still have a job and think how many would love to be in your position. By so doing you will start to enjoy life again.
