Murray could fulfil Maple Syrup and Frederico’s Dream

Take an All To Come

- By Racing Editor

Jockey Callan Murray is riding well at the moment and makes for a tempting All To Come bet to take at the Vaal tomorrow thanks to three talented rides. The suggested multiple bet kicks off with a Win bet on Frederico’s Dream in Race 5, a Place bet on Alshibaa in Race 7 and finally a Win bet on Maple Syrup in Race 8. Frederico’s Dream should relish the drop in trip when she lines up in a FM 92 Handicap over 1000m on the Classic track. Mike and Adam Azzie’s charge finished second in two consecutive outings and was extremely unlucky in her latest effort when beaten 0.10 lengths into second by Covered In Snow in the Swallows Stakes (Listed) over 1160m. She finished 0.20 lengths ahead of San Fermin, a filly Mike Azzie rates highly. The trainer went as far as calling her “freakish.” Frederico’s Dream should confirm superiority over La Bella Mia, Winter Watch and Winter’s Forge, all of whom she beat last time. Stable companion Ice Art should pose the main threat. This daughter of Querari is unbeaten over 1000m and is going for her third win in a row. JP van der Merwe rides and the pair will have a 1kg advantage over Frederico’s Dream. For Trifectas and Quartets float the pair with as many as your budget allows. Alshibaa will have to get the better of Noble Secret when he runs in Race 7, a MR 88 Handicap over 1600m. He finished 5.25 lengths behind Yakeen in his latest effort, however, he is better than that outing suggests – expect massive improvement. He will have to overcome the widest draw of all, the only chink in his armour. Noble Secret was an impressive 9.25-length winner on debut and although disappointing in his follow-up, finishing 3.60 lengths behind Pinnacle Peek, he appears above average. Both efforts were over 1200m. He runs like he is looking for the extra ground, plus is perfectly drawn in stall gate 1. The pair make for a great boxed Singer and Exacta. Gutsy Maple Syrup steps up in trip and should maintain her unbeaten record when she contests Race 8, a MR 87 Handicap over 1600m. She is drawn 4 and will carry 57kg – her recent win suggests she could prove better than rated.
