Regrettable that Cyril retains Zuma’s hyenas

-

I am so disappointed with the cabinet of President Cyril Ramaphosa that was announced on Monday night. This is a compromised cabinet as compromised ministers were not removed.

For example, Nomvula Mokonyane, Bathabile Dlamini, Malusi Gigaba and Nathi Mthethwa should have been left out because they are just useless.

The above politicians will continue to influence how big tenders should be awarded as they are currently doing. For example, Mokonyane bankrupted the Department of Water and Sanitation but she was rewarded with another cabinet post in another department.

Ramaphosa, in the State of the Nation Address, promised that he is going to fight corruption.

How is he going to fight corruption with compromised ministers?

Cassel Mathale bankrupted the Limpopo government but Ramaphosa appointed him as a deputy minister.

Perhaps it is Ramaphosa’s strategy and after the 2019 elections the compromised ministers will not come back.

I was also surprised when Ramaphosa replaced the useless Susan Shabangu with the equally useless Dlamini for the women’s ministry. Ramaphosa did not have a chance to fire her because she is the president of ANC Women’s League.

I also do not trust David Mabuza because there are a lot of allegations against him. It is true that the problem was not [former president] Jacob Zuma but the ANC.

There is nothing Ramaphosa can do because he is surrounded by hyenas and vultures who supported Zuma through thick and thin. Phangani N'wabvenula Mamelodi
