He has the widest draw of all again in today’s 10-horse field, but has the class to overcome it and the form to beat this field.
Awesomely Tuned justified 18-10 favouritism in emphatic style last time, skipping one-length clear of rivals in a 1200m contest. You don’t fix what isn’t broken so Trainer Kumaran Naidoo has kept her over the trip in Race 2, a Juvenile Plate for fillies.
She is drawn well at No 3 and on form should win, despite carrying 3kg more than all her peers. If you’re looking to go light in your BiPot, she is banker material. Keep an eye on the betting for the four first timers.
Race 6, a MR 72 Handicap over 1000m appears a two-horse race between Majestic Glory and The Bungalow – for Trifectas and Quartets float the pair with as many runners as your budget allows. Paul Lafferty-trained Majestic Glory makes most appeal and following two decent showings in handicap races could return to winning ways.
He is also decently drawn in stall gate 7 as opposed to The Bungalow’s wide No 10 draw.
