TAB have announced three Pick 6 carryovers this weekend, giving punters great chances to win big. The “Pick 6 Weekend” is scheduled to kick off at 2.10pm at Fairview today with the opening leg of the Pick 6 with a R290 746 carryover and an estimated pool of R1-million.

The weekend ends at Greyville on Sunday with a R200 000 carryover and a pool estimated to reach R1.7-million.

Not one to be easily outdone, Turffontein will up the ante on Saturday by producing what is expected to be the biggest Pick 6 pool of the weekend – starting with a R300 000 carryover and expected to reach a final pool worth a mind-boggling R1.9-million.

The competitive nature of the Turffontein card will most likely result in the estimate being surpassed so, get on!

There is no carryover Pick 6 at the weekend’s other meeting at Durbanville.

This Dynasty colt looked a top-notch animal in his latest effort when impressively justifying 16-10 favouritism in a 1700m contest, defeating Shogun by a length at the Vaal. It was a victory Lyle Hewitson will never forget, as it marked the day he surpassed Gavin Lerena’s all-time record for riding 284 winners as an apprentice.

Shenanigans is getting better and better with each outing and, if his last effort is any indication he could prove far better than his merit rating of 89. Much is in the four-year-old’s favour: an advantageous No 6 draw and a light 53.5kg on his back – making him even harder to oppose
