Pastors and sangomas need to be regulated after recent rise in unholy acts

-

Following the unending occurrences where pastors are found on the wrong side of religious beliefs, I am of the opinion that Mzansi needs to regulate religious and cultural structures.

This also includes our traditional doctors or sangomas.

The men of the cloth are believed to be the closest to God and sangomas are closest to the ancestors.

Lately, these two are the worst liars and they take people for a ride. Pastors, just like sangomas, take advantage of the needy.

People have problems in their lives and they put their faith in pastors and sangomas and those see an opportunity to drain them of their monies and if you’re an attractive woman, they want to sleep with you.

Many girls have been raped by both pastors and sangomas. Some even fell pregnant with unwanted babies, while others are sick with different illnesses, both physical and mental, as a result of these unholy acts.

This comes as a shock because in the dark world that we’re living in, we need rescuers – the pastors and sangomas – to rescue us from evil spirits, not rescuers to rescue us from the pastors and sangomas of doom.

People need to be cautious all the time, especially young girls. Try not to be too desperate. Men are out to feast on you. If it feels suspicious, it’s not right. Period! Godfrey Malibe Acornhoek
