In 2003 rapper Nelly earned himself a spot on Teen People’s “25 under 25” list, which honoured young people under 25 who were doing great things in the music industry. This was because Nelly had allegedly always claimed to being born in 1980 but in reality he was born in 1974.

Although she has never responded to this, other people have substantiated Matthew Knowles’s claim, like news anchor Bianna Golodryga, who claimed that she had gone to the same high school as Beyoncé.
