ANC right to reject proxies

The ANC’s national executive has shown leadership by rejecting the three names submitted by the North West provincial executive because they viewed those nominated as proxies of the former premier. The province needs a strong candidate who will normalise the administration. We must therefore support the ANC for its decision to go back and consult other role players because if a puppet is elected then the problems of the province will not be resolved. – Lesego Shabangu
