Women deserve to be treated well

-

I feel bad when my fellow men abuse women.

Some women are stuck in abusive relationships and marriages because of abusive men.

Love should not hurt, be it for the man or woman. Women need to be able to do something about their lives in order to prosper.

You don’t necessarily need a man to prosper in life – especially an abusive man who doesn’t deserve you. A man must be able to complement you on what you have or you do.

I don’t support this, but a woman can head a household and raise successful children without a man– but only if circumstances force you to. As a woman, despite whatever challenges you face or difficult backgrounds, you can still turn your life around.

Men, I hope we’ve learnt that a woman is not an object that can be kicked around. She’s not chewing gum that you chew and spit out.

We surely have learnt that a woman is not meant to cry as a result of our abusive conduct. Her heart is fragile. Surely, we know that abuse against women doesn’t make us good men. Surely we have committed ourselves as fathers to teaching our boy children to do better. They must learn to respect, love and take care of their women and all other women. These women are our grandmothers, mothers, sisters and wives. They deserve good things from us. They are too precious to be broken.
