Enjoy festive season responsibly

-

The festive season excitement is upon us. We are all excited to have finally reached the end of the year and looking forward to the new year.

This is the time where many people do unreasonable things, all in the name of the festive season. People borrow money to buy unnecessary things just to “fit in”.

Those who never attended parties and night clubs will go out partying the whole night – all in the name of fun. Worse, those who never touched alcohol before start now, and when you ask why, they say “ke December boss”. Some even have the courage to say I only drink in December.

Yes, people should have fun, but shouldn’t be reckless.

If you don’t smoke and drink during the year, why do it in December? Do people know that there is life after December? Aren’t these the people that are going to be frustrated, come January?

Parents, please take care of your kids because many human trafficking cases are reported during this time.

If it wasn’t good for you to party during the year, the same should apply during this time of the year.

Let’s not do things that will make us regret because of the festivities. There is life after December and we should all enjoy this period responsibly.
