Fielies’ good fortune takes her to LA
SA music sensation to fly flag at Musexpo Summit
Idols SA sensation Paxton Fielies is billed to perform at this year’s Musexpo Creative Summit taking place in Los Angeles.
The event that attracts music industry player sf rom all over the world starts on Sunday and ends on Wednesday in Burbank. The local star is billed to perform on Monday with a special performance on one of the biggest global stages that have given many upcoming artists exposure.
While attending, Fielies will rub shoulders with acclaimed recording labels and management companies who have shown interest in her.
“I’m so excited and feel privileged to have this opportunity to perform in the US and represent my country. It makes me so proud to see how far I’ve come, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds,” Paxton says before flying out.
The Cape Town-born star will also take some time off to explore Hollywood by visiting places such as Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, Disney Studios, Viper Room on Sunset Boulevard, Whisky a Go Go, Venice Beach, and Santa Monica Pier.
Fielies, who shot to stardom in 2017 when she won the 13th edition of Idols SA has recently performed in Russia and Sweden.
Last year, she dropped her debut album This Is
Me with hits such as Angifuni. The album reached the number one spot on the iTunes charts on its first day of release, and it enjoys high rotation on all major radio stations.
