Public welcome back at the track

After what has seemed an eternity, racegoers can finally again attend race meetings country wide, with immediate effect.

Up to 2000 people will be able to attend race meetings at Turffontei­n, the Vaal, Greyville, Scottsvill­e, Fairview, Kenilworth and Durbanvill­e, with immediate effect.

Attendees must, however, strictly adhere to all Covid-19 health protocols and social distancing measures.

It is the first time since March 2020 that the public is allowed to attend race meetings.

This news comes at the perfect time as the Highveld Summer Season is fast approachin­g, with the Gauteng Summer Cup scheduled to be run on Saturday 27 November at Turffontei­n.

# Deck 1 - Public are welcome to book for a buffet meal. The cost per head is R250pp. Call Khanya on 011-681-1796 or email KhanyaL@Phumelela.com.

# Deck 2 – The Coffee Shop will be open for use by the general public. An a La Carte light menu will be on offer. No bookings required, but COVID protocols apply.

Parking and Entrance Points:

RA Members: Marble Arch (Eloff Ext). General Public and Non-RA members: Main entrance on Turf Club Street.
