Having won both the Grade 2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Guineas and the Grade 1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic, Gimme A Nother looks an almost certainty to claim the Wilgerbosdrift SA Triple Tiara on Saturday 6 April should she contest the Grade 2 Bridget Oppenheimer Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks over 2450m on Champions Day at Turffontein.
The Mike de Kock-trained unbeaten three-year-old filly has, however, been nominated for both the Oaks and the Grade 1 Empress Club Stakes for fillies and mares over 1600m.
With final declarations due on Wednesday, bettors will have to play the wait-and-see-game with De Kock as he contemplates where to unleash his superstar.
With four Grade 1 races contested on the day which is also a Hong Kong World Pool meeting, racegoers have no excuse to head to Turffontein where they can enjoy the thrill of live racing and win their share of the mega-million-rand pools.
