The event starts and finishes in Swellendam and areas affected by the route will be Swellendam, Bonnievale, Robertson, Ashton, Montagu, Barrydale and Suurbraak.

SOUTH CAPE The Coronation Double Century Cycling Race takes place on Saturday 25 November and draws more than 3 000 participan­ts. The event starts and finishes in Swellendam and areas affected by the route will be Swellendam, Bonnievale, Robertson, Ashton, Montagu, Barrydale and Suurbraak. Traffic will be controlled on a number of public roads to ensure the safety of the participan­ts and public. The following temporary road closures have been approved by both the Swellendam Municipali­ty and Provincial Department of Roads and Public Works for the duration of the event. Road Closures

• Somerset Road, Swellendam 04:00 - 08:00

• Van Eeden Street Swellendam 11:00 - 17:00

• Murray and Stasie Streets on either side of the Swellendam Showground­s 04:00 - 17:00

• Cooper Street - Between Kok and Murray Streets 04:00 - 17:00

• R324 - Tradouw Pass 05:30 - 09:30

• Van Riebeek Road Montagu 08:00 - 11:30

• R62 Cogmansklo­of Pass (Montagu side) 08:15 12:00

• R62 Cogmansklo­of Pass (Ashton side) 08:00 12:00

• Zandvliet Road - Ashton 08:30 - 12:30

• R317 - From Robertson to Bonnievale (at Angora St) Diversion at Viljoensdr­ift from the Robertson circle 09:30 13:30
