A fire broke out in a house in Olieslager Street on Friday 3 August. According to Lorraine Gamba, she smelled smoke and immediately went to investigate. One of the rooms was on fire and started to spread to the rest of the house. The room with its contents was completely destroyed. The rest of the house has smoke and water damage. The house is known as Haarlem and was built in 1953. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
