FUND RAISING

ENJOY An Eastern Evening of dramatic variety at Resmount Primary School hall in aid of the Reservoir Hills Crimson Sporting Club on August 31. Rajiv Mothie, Neville Pillay, Ridwaan Chote, Essop Kaloo and belly dancers will perform. Tickets are R50 at the door. The show starts at 6.30pm and food will be on sale.

BRING out your best outfit for the Cancer Associatio­n of South Africa’s Night of 100 Stars fundraisin­g ball. The gala dinner event returns on September 2 at Durban’s Suncoast Casino. This year’s lineup includes Craig Urbani, The Glitter Girls, Warrior Knights and Just Jinger singer-songwriter Ard Matthews. Terrence Pillay will be the MC. THE Sabri brothers, Aftab and Hashim, will sing for The Smile Foundation alongside the Sheikh sisters, Rubeena and Sabeena, at the next two Bollywood Qawali Ki Raat concerts in Cape Town and Gauteng. The Smile Foundation is a local charity which provides healthcare for children with facial conditions. The concerts will take place at Cape Town’s Good Hope Centre on Saturday from 7pm and at Johannesbu­rg’s Unisa Conference Centre on September 25 from 4pm. Tickets are from R150 through Computicke­t.
