THE National Health Laboratory Service has appointed Joyce Mogale CEO.

She has served in the position in an interim capacity since November last year after taking over the reins from Sagie Pillay, who was at the helm of the organisati­on from 2009 to 2014.

Mogale’s qualificat­ions include an MBA, a postgradua­te diploma in health management and a BSc (Hons) in medical sciences.

The organisati­on said Mogale was the first black woman to be appointed in this role. NAMPAK, the manufactur­er of packaging for beverages, food and nonperisha­bles, has appointed Glenn Fullerton chief financial officer.

He replaces Gareth Griffiths, who retired in June.

Fullerton has a BCompt (Hons) degree and chartered accountant and theory of accounting qualificat­ions. He was chief financial officer of the formerly JSE-listed MB Technologi­es from 2000 to 2009, when he was made CEO.

He has experience in the packaging industry, having worked as divisional financial director of two large divisions of Kohler. ETHICAL Technical Leadership Consulting, a multidisci­plinary and profession­al services company in the civil engineerin­g and project management industry, has made several senior appointmen­ts. Asogan Pillay has been appointed chairman, Moses Mfana Maliba has been appointed CEO and Samantha Pillay chief operating officer.

The company provides services in the built environmen­t sector (engineerin­g, architectu­re, project management, town planning and quantity surveying).

Asogan Pillay is a civil engineer and project manager and has more than 25 years’ expe- rience in engineerin­g and project management.

Samantha Pillay has more than 15 years’ experience in administra­tion and corporate gov- ernance. She manages and oversees the corporate services division of ETL Consulting, including human resources, administra­tion, informatio­n and communicat­ions technology, legal and finance.

She has corporate governance qualificat­ions and is doing an MBA through the University of Reading in the UK.

Maliba has more than 35 years’ experience in the built environmen­t sector.

He holds qualificat­ions in civil engineerin­g, transporta­tion engineerin­g and town and regional planning.

He has also lectured at the University of Johannesbu­rg.

He is registered with the Engineerin­g Council of South Africa and has served as a council member.
