One crisis too far

HE has outdone himself this time, firing a number of competent ministers from his cabinet without reason while protecting, and even promoting, nonperformers.

But the actions of this Mampara should not have surprised anyone this week. He is clearly so determined to serve the interests of his Saxonwold Shebeen friends that he would risk the economy going up in smoke.

The sooner the ANC’s top brass move beyond issuing statements condemning this Mampara for plunging the country into crisis after crisis and actually fire him, the better for South Africa.
