Clashes break out over hunger strike

PALESTINIANS clashed with Israeli soldiers across the occupied West Bank at the start of the weekend in support of hundreds of Palestinians on hunger strike in Israeli prisons.

Clashes took place in the Ramallah area, near Hebron in the southern West Bank, and at many other locations further north.
