Smell a rat? I don’t wonder

AS much as rats pose a danger to our households, I sometimes think they are more dangerous when they are dead.

Most people kill rats and then throw them in the street. The smell is horrible and the sight disgusting, especially after a couple of cars have squished them.

I know you don’t throw them into your rubbish bins because you hate the horrible smell, but do you think it’s better for the smell to fill the street, causing nausea, sinus problems and headaches? Not to mention the dangerous bacteria.

Can’t you rather put the dead rat into a plastic bag and into your rubbish bin? It will be good for everyone’s health. — Nelson Khumalo,Tembisa
