AIR MAILS

TAAG-Angola Airlines has moved quickly to clarify what it meant when it said passengers flying through the Angolan capital Luanda would need a yellow fever vaccination certificate, regardless of where they had flown from or to where they were going. Briefly, passengers from South Africa do not need a yellow fever vaccination certificate if they are spending less than 12 hours in transit through Luanda. If you’re heading for Brazil — or any other country where there is yellow fever — or if you will spend more than 12 hours in Luanda, then you will need the jab.
