After initially indicating that it wanted nothing to do with a court ruling preventing it from threatening white journalists, Black First Land First later changed its tune to say that it would abide. This came after the South African National Editors’ Forum was granted an interdict in the High Court in Johannesburg. Initially BLF leader Andile Mngxitama asked about the judge: “When have white people been fair to black people?” Sanef welcomed the judge’s ruling, and the BLF was ordered to pay costs.
