ARMADA COMES TO THE MOUNTAIN

With Table Mountain as a backdrop, Spanish yacht Mapfre sails into Table Bay to win the second leg of the Volvo Ocean Race from Lisbon to Cape Town. The boat finished the voyage of 7 000 nautical miles in just over 19 days. Mapfre also took overall lead in the world’s premier long-distance sailing race that is due to finish in June in The Hague, Holland.
