Free internet blocked after citizens sin

- Short takes

An Indonesian city has had to back down after making wireless internet available free from government offices.

This after officials in Solo discovered the internet was being used for drug dealing, watching pornography — which is illegal in Indonesia — or organising prostitution.

Wi-Fi access has also been blocked from 6pm to 4am because children were milling around district offices late at night to use it for free.
