Looking back

The image that came to define Christine Keeler in 1963, and on which the poster for the 1989 film “Scandal“was based, was taken by Lewis Morley. In 2013 the signed original print was auctioned for £11 500 (R210 000), fetching almost three times as much as a topless shot of young Kate Moss by Patrick Demarchelier. The photograph and the imitation Arne Jacobsen office chair on which Keeler posed are now in London’s V&A Museum
