Norman Wallace has been appointed chief operating officer of aha Hotels & Lodges.
Wallace spent 33 years with Tsogo Sun, retiring in
2015 after 18 years as operations director responsible for managing the hotel group’s properties in Africa, the Seychelles, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Since then he has run his own consultancy.
Anneke Potgieter has been appointed director of operations and complex general manager at Silverstar.
She has been a part of Tsogo Sun for almost two decades, starting out as an accountant.
She has held many positions, including financial manager at Hemingways and Suncoast.
Financial services company Ithala has made some senior appointments. Lebogang Serithi has been appointed chief financial officer and Luvuyo Keyise chief technology officer.
Serithi has more than six years’ experience in finance, banking and business, and has held a number of leadership positions.
He is a qualified chartered accountant and has an MCom in financial management.
Keyise has more than two decades of experience in information technology, academia, telecommunications and the public sector. He was CEO at ATS Payment Solutions.
He has a master’s in computer science.
