Beat looming price-hike blues with quality used vehicles

-

Park Village Auctions (PVA) is gearing up to end the year on a high note with two auctions in Durban on Tuesday. A large assortment of genuine bank-repossessed trucks, trailers, passenger and commercial vehicles will be auctioned on the day.

According to Keith Green of PVA, both auctions represent an excellent opportunity to purchase quality used vehicles ahead of imminent price hikes in the new year.

The first auction will start at 3pm at Storage Solutions, 6 Kosi Place, Umgeni Business Park. Notable items on the block include a Scania R620 LA 6 x4, four Mercedes-Benz Axor tippers, a GRW Engineering 50 000L Tanker, and a Caterpillar 320D2L.

The passenger and commercial vehicle auction will follow directly after at 6.30pm at PVA’s Bank Disposal Centre, Unit 10, Cedar Park, Quarry Place off Queen Nandi Drive, River Horse Estate.

Notes Green: “The recent S&P Global downgrade and consistently rising fuel prices (which are predicted to continue in the first quarter of 2018) paint a bleak picture. Conditions like these typically prelude further interest hikes, so buyers need to exercise prudence when it comes to financing vehicles.

“Those in the market for vehicles, be it passenger vehicles through to heavy commercial vehicles are sure to find what they are looking for at highly competitive prices.”

Viewing for both auctions will take place at their respective sites on Monday from 8am to 3pm.

A full auction list is available on PVA’s website under web reference 16412.
