President was just being creative

In “What they said in 2017” (December 31), once more you made fun of the president’s creative use of language. This is so unfair.

People clamour for creativity from leaders, then when the president complies, snide remarks are trotted out.

The president has been creative with numbers and has moved on to words: “Meandos” is a fine-sounding word.
