Dubai-bye and good luck

Dubai has become a popular “holiday” destination for ministers and public servants since it was revealed as the place where capturing happens. Our police minister, Fikile “Mbaweezy” Mbalula, unashamedly tweeted from the emirate during the end-of-year break and Hogarth is aware of senior civil servants who also spent the festive season there.

Hogarth was wondering what was behind the rush to Dubai until a little birdie reminded him that these are No 1’s last days in office and the jumbo sale could be over soon.
