Was NDZ just signing off?
Three days after Christmas, Mama Africa and her cheerleaders, including Comrade Oros and the notso-legitimate KwaZulu-Natal chairman Sihle Zikalala, drove all the way to Bulwer in the Midlands.
It’s not clear what was behind this impromptu visit, during which NDZ spoke at a gathering about the need for “radical economic transformation”. And no one really knows what she and her retinue did afterwards.
Hogarth remembers that it was in Bulwer where her supporters wrangled rocks on a mountainside until they spelt out: “NDZ Madam President”.
Who knows, maybe they went there to clear up that mess?
