Do the locomotive

-

The Desperate Alternative has written to McBuffalo to urge him to intervene in “the mess that is Prasa”, the limping parastatal nominally in charge of South Africa’s chaotic passenger train services. Whoever says the DA has no sense of humour has clearly not read its statement, which, along with demanding that he appoint to Prasa a qualified team without “tainted track [ha ha] records”, also insists that Prasa “seed” [sic] control of Metrorail services to metro councils. But running a railway is not like running a metro — and, given current events in Cape Town, it would seem the DA can’t even run a bath.
