It’s not working, Mosebenzi

With the Gupta brothers on the run, their BFFs are also having sleepless nights back home. Mosebenzi Zwane, who is said to be one of the accused in the Vrede dairy farm case, has run out of excuses for why he is avoiding accounting for his role. Zwane has been evading MPs since a brief appearance in October. This week he wrote a letter to the portfolio committee on mineral resources claiming he could not make it as he had to appear before the National Council of Provinces. Had he checked his facts before lying, he would have discovered that the NCOP had no meeting on the day. DA MP Hendrik Schmidt captured Zwane’s antics well when he said: “It is clear that he is running faster than his Gupta friends.”
