Established resort on offer

-

According to a number of economists, winds of positive change are blowing over markets. The JSE jumped nearly 4% on February 14 and it’s being linked to a positive investor mood following the election of Cyril Ramaphosa as the new president of South Africa. One of the issues that has been holding our market back is the negativity and the uncertainty surrounding the political climate, the Zuma presidency, corruption and state capture. In the last three years South Africa hasn’t kept up with global markets — we have lagged in terms of GDP growth, just scraping though at 1%. This, coupled with the recent ratings downgrade to junk status, does not paint a pleasant picture for South Africa. However, market sentiment appears to be improving since Zuma’s ousting, with positivity coming through. With this surge in optimism, a number of attractive investment opportunities have come to market. One such opportunity is the Mbombela Resort and Spa. In line with the ethos at WH Auctioneers Properties, executive Joshua Pelkowitz explains: “Our strategy has been and always will be to focus on bringing unique, desirable and sellable stock to the market. We have identified the Mbombela Resort & Spa as an ideal investment opportunity.”
