If the gameplay on Fortnite’s newer game play mode Battle Royale seems familiar, you’re not the only one to notice. It was only a matter of time before someone tried to cash in on (rip off) the insane popularity of indie hit PlayerUnknown’s: Battlegrounds (PUBG). Fortnite is a survival game where 100 players fight their way across a murderous island to become the sole survivor. Though there is a massive amount of “same/same” with PUBG, it’s the “but different” that makes Fortnite interesting. Players’ ability to build their environment adds a whole new pace and strategy to the gameplay and this cannot be discounted.
