An expert in spin, spinning

-

No one cheered the former editor-in-chief of ANN7 more loudly than Bongani Majola, the chief director of communications in the Presidency. As the Nkandla wrecking ball caused more destruction, Majola led the chorus of those who pointed fingers at white monopoly capital media. Now that our new No 1 has appointed a new spokeswoman, Majola’s future at the Union Buildings hangs by a thread.

Majola took to his Facebook page this week to tell his followers how proud he was of having worked with former presidential spin-doctors, and continued: “Historically and for the first time a woman comrade has been appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa as presidential spokesperson, Ms Khusela Diko. We have worked with Cde Khus Khus since she was that fiery ANCYL comrade from Tukkies and now broke that historical gender barrier and we look forward to ground breaking comms journey with her.”

If Khus Khus does not keep Majola after he wrote such a colourful application, Hogarth will feed Majola couscous.
