Pan-African law firm

Bowmans has appointed Adele de Jager and Michael Rudnicki as partners in its tax practice.

De Jager, right, moves from KPMG, where she was a tax partner, and will be the head of mining tax for Southern Africa. She specialise­s in corporate tax, M&A and mining tax, and has an MCom (taxation) from the University of Pretoria.

Rudnicki, right, was also previously at KPMG, where he held the position of head of M&A, financial services tax and the private equity sector for Southern Africa since 2015. He specialise­s in banking, M&A transactio­ns, executive incentive schemes and general corporate tax. He has an

MCom (taxation) from the University of Johannesbu­rg.

Harpe joins the Cape Town office as a director, and Bester Ngoepe joins the Joburg office, also as a director.

Cridlan, right, specialise­s in corporate tax, corporate restructur­ing, mergers and

acquisitio­ns, deal structurin­g, due diligence and structured finance.

De la Harpe, right, has been appointed knowledge director for corporate mergers and acquisitio­ns and a director in the corporate mergers and acquisitio­ns team.

Ngoepe has been appointed director in the corporate mergers and acquisitio­ns team.
