Interior manufactur­ing firm’s assets go on sale

● WH Auctions Cape has been appointed by the joint provisiona­l liquidator­s of United Interiors (Pty) Ltd to auction off the interior manufactur­ing company’s assets.

The auction will be held at 10.30am on Tuesday at United Interiors’ premises in Hewett Avenue, Epping 2.

Martin Dibowitz, who heads WH Auctions Cape, says the assets from the complete woodworkin­g plant will be on offer. These include a Holzer horizontal saw, SCM panel saws, planers, table saws, thicknesse­rs, pedestal drills, a spray booth, compressor­s, a dust extraction system and a large number of small power and pneumatic tools.

In addition to the equipment, a 190kVA stand-by generator with ATS unit and various worktables will go under the hammer as well as desks and chairs, filing units, personal computers, plotters and printers and portable air-conditioni­ng units from the company’s offices.

Its vehicle fleet, including four Toyota Hilux single-cab bakkies, two Ford Ranger single-cab bakkies, two Hyundai drop-side bakkies and a Nissan Livinia, will also be sold.

The assets may be viewed at United Interiors’ premises between 9.30am and 4pm tomorrow .
