Lamberti quits Eskom board
Imperial CEO Mark Lamberti resigned from the Eskom board — to which he was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa — after being found guilty of impairing the dignity of a former employee. “A mainstream and social media frenzy of generally inaccurate commentary” on the ruling had led to “the most vitriolic defamation of my person”, Lamberti told Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan, who didn’t ask him to stay and accepted his resignation
