BEES AND BREAKFAST

Along with its rooftop garden, which provides such delights as pumpkin, beans, olives and clementines, St Ermin’s Hotel in Westminster is also home to 350 000 bees who live in hives or — for bees that like to travel alone — in specially made hexagonal “suites”.
