Melville Douglas, which is owned by Standard Bank, has appointed Paolo Senatore global strategist. Senatore joins from Ashburton, where he was chief investment officer. He will be working with the investment leadership team led by chief investment officer Jerome O’Regan. Allied Electronics Corporation Limited has appointed Ike Dube MD of Altron Rest of Africa.
He will report directly to Andrew Holden, Altron’s group chief operations officer, and be responsible for driving Altron’s growth into the rest of Africa.
Dube joins from MTN South Africa, where he was the head of business risk management. Boutique intellectual property law firm Spoor & Fisher has appointed Tshepo Shabangu chairwoman.
She becomes the second woman to lead the firm in its nearly 100-year history.

Fulbright South Africa has appointed Patrick Colegrave a director of the firm’s banking and finance practice.
He is a qualified solicitor and has worked in the Caribbean and the Cayman Islands.
Colegrave has been active in Africa for several years advising on inbound investments.
