McBuffalo and the rest of the national working committee visited Baba kaDuduzane’s stronghold province of KwaZulu-Natal this week, and came face to face with hostile supporters of the Nkandla Crooner. In one meeting in eThekwini region, Baba kaD’s backers sang Wenzeni uZuma? (What wrong has Zuma done?) in McBuffalo’s presence. In Moses Mabhida (Pietermaritzburg), McBuffalo’s supporters were locked out of a meeting. Luthuli House makhulu baas Ace Magashule tried to downplay these incidents when he briefed the media on Monday. He said that later in the day, McBuffalo’s followers were allowed inside the hall in Pietermaritzburg. “We also wanted the media to be part of the meeting. When we went outside to get the media there was no one.” The whole media centre chuckled as none of the scribes bought the story.
