President Cyril Ramaphosa said no cost should be spared to ensure that workers were safe and their families adequately cared for and compensated when disaster and tragedy struck. He expressed sadness yesterday at the deaths of seven miners at SibanyeStillwater’s Driefontein mine near Carletonville on the West Rand. The seven were among 13 trapped underground on Thursday after three tremors. The six miners who survived are in hospital
