A dozen camels were disqualified from a beauty contest in Saudi Arabia earlier this year — for using Botox to plump up their pouts. With prizes at the annual King Abdulaziz Camel Festival totaling $57 million, the stakes are high for the handlers. A rule book, however, specifically disallows “drugs in the lips“, along with dyeing the creatures on any part of their bodies.
