IT’S A SMALL CELL AFTER ALL

An American man was sentenced to jail this week after he tried to incite panic at a Disney Resort hotel — by telling guests there was a shooter on the loose (there wasn’t). And why would he do that? So he could film their reactions for his Youtube channel. Duh. The incident happened on Monday at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida, a four-star hotel within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom’s main gate. After he was approached by the hotel manager, 22-year-old Dillion Burch of Arizona reportedly admitted that he’d planned to film people’s reactions.

The hotel then called the police, who found Burch “highly intoxicated”.

Burch pleaded no contest to charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly intoxication and was jailed for three days.

He was also banned from all Walt Disney World properties. ● L S.
