Siya’s significant moments

2004

Kolisi joins Grey Primary after being offered a bursary. It proved a significant juncture in his life.

2013

The Stormers flanker makes his test debut under Heyneke Meyer against Scotland in Nelspruit.

2014

Siya becomes a dad and he reunites with his 12-year-old brother and seven-year-old sister and starts procedures to adopt them.

2016

Following a four-year courtship he marries Rachel Smith, who has become the rock in his life.

2018

Kolisi plays his 100th Super Rugby match. He becomes the 61st Springbok captain, the first black man to do so in 127 years.
