Ugandan model Aketch Joy Winnie escaped poverty in Uganda via the catwalk and has been booked by international fashion magazines such as Grazia France, Vogue Japan and the US’s V Magazine. Last week she was in Arles, in the south of France, and modelled for the Gucci Cruise Fashion Show.
