CIT gang bust

A specialised police team, tracking one of the country's most brazen heist gangs, smashed the backbone of the syndicate when they arrested six of its kingpins in a series of raids across Gauteng over the last 10 days. The gang is allegedly linked to at least 23 heists which have occurred in Gauteng, North West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The heists, say the Hawks, have netted the gang an estimated R46-million.
