The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa has appointed Nontobeko Sibisi nonexecutive director on the board.
Sibisi studied travel and tourism in Richards Bay in 2003 and worked in the travel and hospitality sector for almost 10 years before moving to the corporate sector. She is the founder and CEO of Bhubesikazi Investment Holdings, a global company involved in leadership training and development. Dell EMC South Africa has appointed Brad Pulford channel and distribution lead.
He has been with Dell EMC for more than 10 years and previously led the company’s enterprise solutions group.
Pulford will oversee Dell EMC’s local and regional channel relationships, and focus on the distribution and retail markets.
“I’m very optimistic about what lies ahead and to lead a very important part of our business. It’s a critical component to Dell EMC’s plans,” said Pulford. Pan-African telecoms group Liquid Telecom has appointed Ahmad Mokhles group chief operating officer, a new position. He will help drive operational excellence across the group’s 13 countries of operation.
Mokhles has more than 20 years of ICT experience, having worked for some of the Middle East and Africa’s largest telecoms, including Orascom, Etisalat, Ooredoo and Airtel Africa.
“Ahmad is uniquely qualified to oversee the group’s operations as we expand further across Africa,” said group CEO Nic Rudnick. Pan-African law firm Bowmans has appointed Robyn Berger partner in its tax practice.
She is a former head of international tax at KPMG Services, where she spent 15 years before leaving in December to add investment banking exposure to her core strengths in tax and exchange control.
She has been a tax practitioner since 1999, when she joined the corporate tax department of Arthur Andersen.
Berger has a BCom in financial accounting and higher diplomas in taxation and in international tax.
