How we got here
● In December 2017 Supra Mahumapelo is part of a group, nicknamed the Premier League, that supports Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
● In February 2018 protests erupt in Mafikeng and surrounding areas as people call for his resignation as North West premier.
● He finally resigns in May following pressure from the ANC.
● Mahumapelo is then linked to a pro-Jacob Zuma grouping that is planning to form a political party.
● He appears with the grouping during Zuma’s first court appearance in KwaZulu-Natal.
